Wyoming Unit 9

Hey everyone,

My dad and I pulled this tag and head out with our rifles in a few weeks. Does anyone have any insights that I may have missed in my research?

I archery hunted there this year, On private. Not much public from what I seen or heard about. Lots of goats though. Most of what you'll be in is cattle pasture. Wide wide open. Not much sage to hide behind lol. I seen lots of good goats. Nothing big where I was at, no 80 inchers. I killed a 60 inch goat spot and stalk. You'll have fun and be able to be really picky with a rifle. They have been getting quite a bit of rain as well so they will be spread out more. Good luck.

My brother and his wife archery hunted that unit a few years ago. They killed a couple bucks in the western part of the unit, I think in the portion of unit 11 that is also valid on the unit 9 tag.
