4 fletch vs. 3 fletch

Are you adding helical to them if so how much? I have used in the past the EZ fletch and I think is has too much helical for Blazers causing a large parachuting effect out past 40 yards.

This would be a myth
I use the 2" Blazers with excellent results out to 100+ yards and zero issues, fletchings with AZ EZ Mini.

This was recent, although not Blazers with AZ EZ Mini and 2" Vanes at 80 yards

I really don't see much difference in my 3 fletch offset Blazers, 4 fletch Fusions, 4 fletch AAE pro max setups... Maybe in favor of 4 fletch with my 4 blade broadheads (100 grain Tooth of The Arrow) pretty sure it's one of those things, try them and see how they fly for your setup.

Also, seems like every guy working at my local shop is running 4 fletch Fusions.

Which ones? I really like the 2.1" Fusion Xii vanes. I've used 2" Quick Spins for the last 10+ years with great performance, but they're tall like Blazers and I always have to turn them to clear my cables. The lower profile Fusions solve that problem, but with fixed BH's accuracy tightens up with that 4th fletch.

For what it's worth you can gain clearance by fletching with the AZ EZ Mini due to the 6* helical, it gives you that little extra when shooting 2" Blazer style vanes

Can you please explain how you have come to the conclusion that this is a myth. What you claim is not what I found in my testing. Same arrows same broadheads, same everything! All the same but 2 arrows with 6 deg helical fletched and 2 straits fletched. At 60 yards the helical's impact 2-3" lower than the straits consistently. This was last summer and my results are why I had asked.

I take the ballooning you referred to a little differently and more out of control and opening up your group sizes.

So if your not referring to this and just extra drag, I would agree, they have a little more extra drag.

Not really a bad thing, as they do keep long range Broadheads on track better and fight the wind a little better staying on track.

I don't see 2-3" difference myself but there is slightly some difference at 60 yards when comparing to straight or offset.

Whichever these ones are. I see lots of guys running em and I think they are also the toughest

I'm running 4 x2 blazers this year. The best flying arrow setup I have ever shot was with 4 of those so I'm going back to them this year.

They are actually a little taller than the new heat canes and since they are shorter they work great for 4 fletch.

Fusion X-ii 1.75's? I have seen them in the 4 fletch more recently.

Currently, I shoot blazers with 3 degree offset. Was going to fletch up some of these 1.75's to see how they work.

Yes and those are my dads arrows, he likes 3 fletch but everybody else was running 4. I am running 4 fletch aae pro max right now, just to try them but may end up going back to fusion

When I first saw the pic, I would have sworn that those were the 3". They look longer than the 1.75's.

I was going to try the 1.75's for 3D, but since I mostly use my hunting arrows and setup for 3D I'll stick with the 2.1".

This is the 2.1" in a 4-fletch (blue) and the 3" in a 3-fletch (pink). They both fly close to the same out to 80 yards.

I may have found a 4 Fletch combo I might switch to if the long range fixed blades hold tight with fieldpoints.

Well you got our interest ontarget7 how about letting us in on your possible discovery so those of us who enjoy trying different combinations can also test it out?
