What stab does everyone shoot?

Tried a search and didn't get anything and it's been mentioned and sprinkled amongst the slew of stab threads recently. I'm not looking for balance ratios but really just what are you using to hunt with. I've recently gone from single Carbon Blades to working with a side bar and having fun with it. Problem is, island in Alaska doesn't exactly have a lot of stabs for me to run down to the local shop and try out, so it's all trial and error and mail order. Trying to shorten that experimental process.

So what is everyone shooting in a hunting set up? Mostly looking for length and weight. Shooting a CSTZT and CE for this discussion.

I bought a Titanium Archery Products on a recommendation a few months ago and have been happy with it so far.

It's super light except for the weight up front. It has been quieter than my bstinger for sure.

Another TAP shooter here!

it has definitely tightened my groups up and takes vibration and noise down.
This is at 30yds with my limbsaver:

30yds with the TAP:

60yds with the TAP, different day with 25mph winds

If you give Sam Shaffer a call he can do custom lengths, weights and colors for you as well. I highly recommend checking them out! Home

I don't use a stabilizer. I've tested myself with and without them all the way out to 100yds and never noticed an improvement. Maybe in the heat of the moment one could help, but I've not needed it. For me, it's just extra weight to carry.

I currently run a 12-inch beestinger with 3-4 ounces out front and a 10-inch beestinger on the side with 6-7 ounces.

Stokerized 6" G2 Hunter. Gave me great balance, quieted my bow a little, and took the last bit of vibration out of my Elite.

I was running a 10" Beestinger and just got the adapter and 6" side bar to help level me out a bit better since I suck at looking at my level. haha

i've used a 6" b stinger sport hunter extreme the last couple of seasons but i don't know how much good it's doing me. my longer range groups seem to be slightly better with it but i would like to experiment with some other options.

10/8 B-Stinger setup with AAE Western Hunter bars on my Carbon Element has been a great combo for me. Like you said weight/balance is subjective to the user.

Got a new bow build that actually is going to be done today- on this going to start out with the AAE hot rodz western hunter 10/8 front side. I am going to try to do a review on here of the entire setup (Reign 7, stab as above, tommy hog 5 pin, Jon Dudley/AAE nock on elevate rest- still looking into the arrow setup, but likely something around a GT 340 kaos).

None, don't like carrying the bow in the back country with a stabilizer. The first 24 NA species haven't required one.

I'm running a 10" now, but wondering about the 12" How's that to hunt with?...just getting in the way? Thanks!

I run a 10/8 now but was thinking of going to a side 6" I'll have to add some weight to the six, but I'm thinking about it just to have less hanging off the bow.
