Has anyone gone through the process or have a friend who has gotten cleared to use a crossbow during Montana's archery season? My dad is Nam vet and disabled. He can still get around but there's no way he can still shoot a conventional bow. Pushing 70 he's doing pretty good for his age but he gave up the bow life years ago.

Just kinda miss bowhunting with him and planning on speed goats in August which would be an easy hunt froma blind for him.

How much of a hassle is it? He just needs a note from the VA to get his disabled sticker right? He's a long ways from hunting from the truck luckily. He's still good for a few short walks but not a compound.

Thanks

Just call and find out. I don't think alot take advantage of this, there's probably "a guy" that processes all of them. That's the guy you need to get ahold of.
Good luck, my dad's 72 and a few States away. I'm always appreciative of any time with him, especially outside.
