I used to shoot Gold tip Pro Hunters. My son "acquired" these. Been trying Gold tip Kinetic Kaos in a 300 and 340 spine. Use to shoot Rocky Mountain Iron heads, but ran out of these. Own some Schwackers and Monotec in 100 gr. Shooting a 7 yr old Carbon Matrix at 62 pounds. Hunting elk in Wyoming. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

If your draw is at least 29" the 340's at 29" with 125gr or 150gr heads would probably work. I'd bare shaft test to find out.

My draw length is 28"

a 28" 400 spine with a 100 gr head would work. Or a 29.5" 350 spine with a 125gr head. At least according to OT2 and Archers Advantage. I would bare shaft tune to dial either one in.

Just use the 340 Kinetics and Montecs unless you want to try something different. They will fly well.

Thanks for the info. Not really looking for a change, just make sure I am the best prepared I can be.
