Fellas,

I recently got a new to me Monster chill 60-70, set at 70. I have a 30 inch draw. I need to change my 400 arrows out for something stiffer. My question is the below set up ideal? I really don't want to change set up from Elk back to deer either.

Beman ICS Classic Hunters cut to 28 3/4 in 300
Broad head 125 muzzy or 100 magnus stinger not sure yet.

what say you guys?

340 Easton axis with 100gr muzzys have slayed a few thousand elk, and make a better deer arrow than the 300s

Not to high jack this thread, but I just acquired the same bow as bulldog2nine. The only difference is I have a much shorter draw at 27.5" with the shorter draw would that change any recommendations? I mostly spot and stalk mule deer and elk.

Bulldog I would get more weight on your arrow you will shoot pretty fast at 30" and 440 grains with that bow set at 70. I would try to get under 300 fps for sure and ideally 280-290 fps and you will be much happier with fixed blade flight.

I have had fixed blades on the money up to 325 fps with my specs and zero issues.
Personally, I don't see an issue at all with the selection your looking at.

Arrow is still plenty heavy for 27.5" DL.
