I’ll be getting a fast Eddie xl in a few weeks and was wondering on pins sizes and wanted your guys inout. I’m thinking of my 20,30,40 all being .19 and my 50,60 being .10. The catch is I can save 50-75 dollars with just going with .19 on all of them instead of getting the two in .10. So my question is, is the .10 worth the extra money? I will prob shoot 100 plus on the range to, though will try to keep everything in the woods 50 and in.

I wouldn’t pay extra for a .10 pin. Even if they were the same price, I would use .19 for all of them. If you shoot enough, you will instinctively center the pin on your target, regardless of target/bullseye size. But, opinions are like _____s. Everybody has one.

I my opinion yes.
I shot 5 pins last year all .19 and I think it covers too much of the target at 60 plus.
I will be running 3 .19 pins and 2 .10 pins this yr and believe as long as your eye sight allows this is an awesome way to go.
If your gonna be shooting in lower light u can prob get closer to use ur .19 pins and the extra light gathering will hell you there.

I shoot 0.19 for 20-40 and 0.10 for 50-70. Tried it with all 0.19 and didn't like it at all, too hard to see smaller targets at longer ranges. I also tried 0.10 for my 40 and didn't like that either. The difference in $$$ isn't that much for something you will use a long time.

Thanks for the reply’s guys. I’m leaning towards the 3 pins at .19 and two pins at .10 but we will see. My thought is the longer shots it will be nice to have the smaller pin, but we will see what I end up getting

I have the .19 on my first 4 and my sliding pin .10, honestly I think it would be fine if it was a fixed non slider out to 60 but where the smaller pin really shines is 80 plus yards

On the flip side u could save the money on the .19 sight shoot it and if u don't like it change out a pin or 2. The try is cheaper the if u swap it's not like it will cost more then if u just ordered it the 1st time.

Well I ordered the spot Hogg fast Eddie xl. Should be here in a few weeks. Went with the .19 pins on my 20,30,40 yard pins and for my 40,50 yard pin went with the .10 pins. Green, green, red, green, green for color. Can’t wait to get this site

I did not read all the posts but once you get to 50plus yards .19 pins are huge. I would absolutely pay for smaller pins. I do not remember having to pay extra for a custom Axcel.
