BEA Spartans, 27.5 length carbon to carbon, 28.0 inches nock throat to carbon, 125gr broadhead, 30gr insert weight, 10gr insert, back of the arrow has 18gr of vanes, and 17gr bushing/nock. Draw length is 29, draw weight is 71lbs currently and might go up to 75. I’m wondering if I can do the 300 spine, or if I need 250. Thanks.

I am shooting the BEA Ximpaxts with about the same dimensions. I run the SS outsert up front (60 oz) and the 125 gr head. I have 4 fletched AEE and Lighted nock. I am set at 72 lbs on my PSE (which shoots at 372 IBO- so this 72 lbs is hitting hard), and I opted for the 250 spine.
I have yet to have an issue of going stiffer when in doubt.

I just shot thru paper on mine again today, and it is perfect.
I have a very hard time seeing my arrow in flight. It is very smooth, and flies perfectly.

your fine with 300s at 70, if you go up to 75 your going to most likely be weak with 300s unless you cut them back. If your set on bumping the weight up i would go with the 250s

What bow? It makes a huge difference. If it's a bow with an ibo over 340 you may be close. A slower bow with a softer cam may be fine.
