Rifle hunted for 27 years. Just now picking up a bow. Not going on any big bow hunts this year but trying to get my basics in line. I’m wondering what everyone thinks is the best range finder for the money. I’m willing to consider a $800 range as well as a $200 range. Just wondering where it’s all at. I’m pretty well caught up in binos but have completely ignored range finders. Now this would be strictly for archery for now. Thanks for help.

I've been impressed with Nikon's new Monarch 3000 stabilized range finder. It runs in the $400 price range. The stabilization portion is what blows me away. Makes it much easy to dial on a small object with one hand. Worth a look IMO. Good luck!

I like my vortex way more than the Leupold full draw that I had before

My Sig Kilo 850 has been great for what they cost. A little small for long range rifle but no complaints for an archery RF.

Vortex. Mine is accurate and the warranty is probably good.

Others not so much.

Sig Kilo 2k, in my opinion best bang for buck. Does everything you need for archery (angle comp, etc) as well as pretty much all you need for rifle as well. Works awesome

Sig has several new rangefinders out. I would give them a look. Maybe the Kilo 1800 BDX.

I really liked my Sig but had issues ranging over brush on a recent hunt that has me questioning the unit.
