Following. I'm looking for a simple unit for verifying fps on bow and rifle. Need to be able to use outside and not be finicky, i don't need bells and whistles.

Magnetospeed. Very easy to use and public range friendly. Spend the extra 20.00 for the cable and download your data to your I phone. Easy peasy.

Works well for me. Best ratio of ease and cost and function. It does throw POI off, so you are wasting your shots to get velocity, but there isn’t anything that can touch it without spending a lot more. Does what I need.

set on bench, point at target, shoot.

pick up rifle and set in second rifle, shoot.

and it gives velocity for every 20 feet out to 80yd.

I've had it for several years and been very happy with it.

Caldwell. I've been pleased with it. All my data goes to my phone for easy storage and I didn't have to buy anything extra to do that.

Have this for rifles but need one for bow, I have a ohler but it doesn't pick up arrows well and it's a pain to setup.
