That is a whale of a deal. A bow press was the best archery investment I ever made, and I paid a heck of a lot more than that.

Google pipe bow presses, there is a long thread on them on another forum. If you half way handy and have a few shop tools you can build one very easy with wood working equipment. Mine has served me well for 3 seasons and cost about $5 for a hardwood block to make the jaws...but the neighbor gave me a nice 5' pipe clamp which would cost $25 or so new at Home Depot. I've pressed 3 different Mathews, a Hoyt, a Prime and PSE on mine without issue...and it is a heck of lot faster, safer and easier than with my portable Bowmaster, which did the job for 15 or more years.

I didn't so any research on it, just saw it and figured it was a good deal. For the money, most guys could make it work just fine.

If you have a more ingenuity driven soul, a homebrew setup is great. Mine is a homebrew LCA clone, but I have a pretty well stocked metal shop.

If anyone gets one, let us know how it works.
