Okay guys... just curious which arrow you would shoot. All are pretty average to slow speed for my 27.5” draw. KE and Momentum is good on all. In case you are wondering the 540 grain combo is the quietest.

Use is primarily elk, mule deer and whitetail.

Thanks!

My brother bought 3 Nitrum’s and I talked him out of a black one.

70 pounds with a Carbon Express Mutiny Slasher arrow, which is a rather average arrow shaft with I think .003 +\- straightness tolerance.

Its @ 27 draw which seems a bit short but what I wanted for deep winter bulky clothes and teen temps.

Just setting her up this past week. Fast enough for me ! Nowhere near 540 grains ofcourse.

They are great shooting bows. I am definitely splitting hairs here. Last year I took an elk with mine using a 467 grain arrow and 175 in total point weight. I did get a pass through. Shot distance was 4 yards, broadside.

Certainly would love to hear others answers on which arrow they would shoot. They all group very well.

465gr is fantastic.

at 263 FPS, i think that is fast enough to get there. is the bow any quieter with the heavier shafts?

man..a four yard elk shot!! how exciting was that?!!! i would pee alittle.

Thanks for the replies. The heavier arrows are quieter. The energy gets absorbed well out of the 540s. KE stays the same throughout but FOC and momentum increases slightly as you go up the scale.

Bull elk at 4 yards are awesome.

I think I am going to run with the 515 grain combo. 540 a close second.
