Planning a fly in hunt for next year for caribou. Since we will have a main camp that we do day hikes from, would the Pintler suffice? I can use the overload shelf for a large dry bag on the way in/out.
I could get a metcalf, but I feel that is more than I need for most of my hunting (day hunts for mule deer).
