Anybody running a Kifaru Woodsman with a scope pocket on either side?

just a thought on a possible downsize option from my AMR. Wondering if anybody's tried it, and if so, how did you like it? With a guide lid, seems like it might be a sweet setup.
Seems to be a lot more chatter on here about the Reckoning.
I already have the two scope pockets that I thought I was going to run on the AMR, thus going for this rather than the Reckoning.

There's some pics up of a woodsman with a spotter pocket on one side and two belt pouches on the other side. If you search "woodsman setup" under the backpack forum I think there's is two threads with pictures.

How does the guide lid attach on top? I have a Woodsman and a guide lid but I can't seem to see how it attaches. It looks like where it would have both female clips. I'm sure it's something obvious I'm missing.
TIA

Could you throw a K clip on top where the two female buckles are to secure the guide lid to the bag/frame? Basically pull the female buckles off and just use the K clip. Would make the lid hinge like a book instead of having extra room for expansion.

You can attach Guide lid with just some strap through the little triglide at the top of the frame and attach it to the buckles on the guide lid. You may have to fish your triglides out of the hole of your sleeve. A lot of times those get stuck down in there when not in use. This is the simplest way Ive found to do it without adding weight.

This is what I've done. I like it! Very stable hinge rather than having buckles sliding around and coming loose at inopportune moments on a compressed pack.
