Thanks for the input. No better guy to respond that someone who owns both. Sounds like you would steer me to the 6900, I do rifle hunt, but primary archery. Another benefit is the extra 1000cu.in, Rather have more room than not enough. Always can put into bivy mode.

I love both of these packs, but if I could only own one Stone Glacier (instead of 4 ), it would be the 6900. The Talus 6900 is my most favorite pack ever of any brand and when I say I’ve owned a bunch of packs, that is an understatement.
