All loaded up for this years sheep hunt. 7 day solo walk in hunt. The only change from last year to this year is no partner, so no sharing the load. This made my weight go from 55 lbs to 68 all in. This includes food, sleep system, water, rifle..... There is already 6 to 10"s of snow up there so the Seek Outside BCS and woodstove gets the nod. Adds weight but being able to drag my old bones out of the sack into a warm shelter makes it worth the penalty.

Awesome. Will you hunt from camp once it's set or move camp every day or so? Can you melt snow with anything in your cook set on the stove or is running water plentiful.
Good luck.

I've been hunting this same area for a few years. Once I set camp I'll be staying put unless there is absolutely nothing around or other hunters happen to find their way in there. As far as water goes it bubbles right out of the side of the mountain. As fresh and clear as you could imagine.
