Sorry if this is in the wrong section-

I have gotten used to having a kifaru camp bag in my tent (cargo panel on the pack) with my crap in it. Its nice because it keeps things out of the dirt and makes it easy to pack and not lose track of things. I sold my CP and camp bag for a Reckoning and am looking for a lightweight structured sack to take its place. Then l could get to camp, drop the sack with camp stuff, cinch up the Reckoning with my day gear already in it and go.

I was thinking of using a large kuiu boned out meat bag (duffel looking ones). I figure its light and it never hurts to have a meat sack around in a pinch.

Ideally it would be nice to have something water resistant. Could l coat it with something or is there a better idea altogether?

I like the idea of a drysack but l think lm hooked on a duffle style bag that can just sit and hang out open.
