Any opinions as a day pack up to a 3 day pack, that can haul 60-80lbs?

Most guys aren't getting 3 days out of that bag without stashing something between the bag and frame. There just isn't enough room for a sleep system and food for multiple days. I like the layout for day hunting and the bag size makes no difference when in comes to hauling meat, the frame will haul the same amount of meat regardless of which bag you have on there.

Go with the 3500. You will use more than 2000 c.i. every time you do a 3 day/night trip, and the bag will compress just as small as the 2000 c.i. bag.

That's what I was thinking, and not much of a price difference.

+1 on the 3500. I have both bags and seldom use the 2000 if I'm packing a spotter and tripod even for day hunting.

If any of you are on instagram, First Lite and Exo's accounts showed Steve using the 2000 for a weekend September elk hunt. He showed you all his gear and how it packs it. There was still a good bit of room. I guess it all depends on how you pack and what season you are doing your 3 day hunts in.
