I have used an Alps Freighter pack frame for 2 years to pack out. It carried the weight really good. I have not used any of their backpacks but im sure they would work fine. There are good options that are cheaper than Kifaru and the other high priced packs. Im not saying they are as good but they work fine. I have used 2 different Badlands packs. They both worked great, not as great as my Kifaru, but they did work great and i could afford them at the time.

I have the alps, kuiu ultra, kifaru, outdoorsmans and exo. Out of all of them the alps carries 70# the best for me. The material is very durable, i trained with 70# all last year with no issue in material. The only thing i did was replace the belt buckle because it slipped, so does my kifaru. I got a buckle that had a kind of clamp on it then no problems at all. My cousin can’t get the alps to fit exactly right, he has a shorter torso, but to me its the most comfortable and i’m 5’6”.
