Spring Bear Idaho debating wilderness units

Reading your post you stated you want wilderness. I am throwing this out anyway, look at units 13 and 18. I have been in those units in the spring and have seen several bear and little pressure. There will be snow in the higher elevations but closer to the river it will be green. I have also been in unit 6 and have watched several bear, more pressure there but still not bad.

What does 28 look like? I'm looking to bow hunt and brush might hinder my chances.

It's not densely forested like Northern Idaho. I think it could be hunted spot and stalk, along with many units in South and Central Idaho.

43 seems like a good idea this year, depending on snow pack. As of now, is it looking like 43 will be accessible by Mid may? Also looking at a backpack backcountry hunt.
