Idaho 4,6,7. Is mid-May going to be too early this year?

I plan to hunt Idaho units 4 to 6 area in mid-May, 13-20 staying in Avery. Will it be huntable with this year's snowpack?. Are there any areas that may locally have smaller amounts of snow? Including Potlatch land. Or should I just assume a snow seeing trip?

snowline is roughly 3000 feet. we are still snowmobiling out of the parking lots and not having to drive up. Normal snowpack in the mountains, normal access times.

That is good news. I had also heard it was a bad winter for deer, will that impact how I hunt? Will that keep the bears away from the grassy areas?

For what it's worth...I've been seeing Idaho bears out the past two weeks at snow line and below...eating grass. They're out!
