Help! Bear hunting North ID

Hey guys I could use some help. I'm new to bear hunting and my dad is coming out this fall. I haven't hunted with my dad since I was 12 so it's a pretty big deal to have him want to come with me. He has always wanted to shoot a bear, so that is what we are going to chase. I plan on baiting since he can't really get to the areas I normally spot and stalk in (Selway wilderness). I know Unit 10 near Headquarters has a bunch of bears, but I don't know what to look for when setting up a bait station or what to us as bait. Any help and advice would be great. Thanks!
