Close encounter with bear in CO

I had never seen a bear in the wild before this elk hunt, and ended up seeing a blonde cub, cinnamon adult and black adult in 3 days. The last encounter was pretty fun, too early for bear season and I didn't have a tag anyway, but could've easily shot this bear several times. I ended up running it off when it got to 15 yards.

A little bit before that video it dove headfirst into the stock tank and paddled around a bit. I really enjoyed watching it and loved being close enough to see into it's eyes.

Next year I will be a CO resident and have a tag in my pocket, so I will probably see 0 bears, but this encounter has me hooked!

This is my third consecutive year with a bear tag in my pack. Three years in a row I've had a really good encounter with a bear on the opening weekend of deer/elk only to not have another the rest of the season. I have the last nine days of the season to hunt but probably won't be in my bear areas.
