What non-hunting brands have you found for hunting that have become ‘go-to’ pieces ?

The clearance/discount rack at Kohl's has been a good spot for some killer deals on puffy jackets (Columbia) and performance undershirts lately. Our store in April/May had $150+ puffy's on clearance for $25, dark green.

The Patagonia Field line was nice but looks like it has been discontinued. Lightweight field pants, Fleece pullover and the lightweight shirts have all been great. I use them fly fishing, upland hunting and warmer weather field pursuits.

Patagonia R1 is one of the best fleece midlayers out there.

Arcteryx Atom LT hoody.

Mountain Khaki Alpine Utility Pants for cold weather upland hunting

Arcteryx and OR have found their way into my kits quit a bit. I am loaded down with Simms stuff as well and they have many peices that cross the line well.
Wool power makes some great pieces.

Montbell Thermawrap jacket
Outstanding warmth/weight

I gave mine to a friend on a frigid hunt

Now the jacket is discontinued.

Outdoor research makes great stuff.

Ferrosi pants, echo long sleeve tops, and I just got a set of helium raingear for a beater summer set that very well may come hunting on milder trips.

Everything iv handled from Eddie Bauer has not impressed me much

Patagonia puffy pants! Love em
I wear Kujalas pants strictly out hiking around for sheds or scouting as well but switch to camo during crunch time.
I also am a big fan the north face thermo ball and have a vest as well as puffy I sometimes take.

Those of you wearing OR. What specific pieces are you wearing?

Personally I really like the Eddie Bauer guide series and the Prana Zion pants.

EB Guide Shorts are awesome too!

Gaiters. Ascendant jacket; Basically the same as Sitka active jacket. Usually have one of there rainshells stuffed somewhere, they are like 6 oz. Good for wet mornings, early season short rain storms. One of their gore windstopper beanies. Echo briefs. My wife's uses their pants for hunting.
