What does the best when putting a lot of miles on a pair of pants?
Sneaking up on 50, noassatall syndrome starting to rear it,s head a little, gonna try dropping down a size from 36 to 34 to combat the pants sliding down with a pack. Have a pair of Attacks that were great prior to a little 13 mile jaunt with a heavy pack that kept pushing my britches down a little lower than I,d like. And resulted in a lot of pilling in the knees.
Haven't yet tried the First Lite Corrugates, curious about them..also hear the Prana,s mentioned a lot,..
Like the fit of the Attacks, wondering if dropping down a size might not cure the low riding britches problem, which I suspect greatly exacerbated the pilling in the knees..
Course that theory could be entirely false..
Anyhow, looking for ideas, any input would be appreciated...
Prolly unrealistic, still tryna avoid belts and suspenders...

Skre hardscrabble pants have a nonslip band inside the waist. They also were better against abrasions and pulling than attacks for me.

Did that the other day. Or, to be more accurate, started running the hip belt up higher where it,s supposed to be. Somewhere along the way, got lazy carrying lighter stuff, let it ride lower, turned into a bad habit.
