Chama Hoody vs. Chama 1/4 zip

So this is a sizing question: I have a Fusion Chama Hoody and I really love the hood, but it is short (and wide) in the torso. I do still wear it and like it, but it's short. Today I got a deal on a Chama 1/4 zip in the same size but in ASAT. The ASAT 1/4 zip is much longer, like 4". Is this just a wonky sizing thing? ASAT vs. Fusion? Hood vs. Zip? I just can't understand the difference in sizing? If an ASAT Chama Hoody is longer I'm all in? Any input appreciated.

I have both the Llano and Chama 1/4 zip in asat and they are sized the same it seems. Don't have a hoody, but would think the sizing would be the same. Me thinks this is an isolated case, but i'll defer to those with more First Lite experience.

The chama hoody medium and large were about the same in width. The medium is shorter and large is longer. If you are 5 10 or taller I'd get the large. It's looser than the Llano. I'd call them for specifics, their sizes are real wonky. The quality control or design of sizing is poor, compared to say, Ibex products.

They Are Designed For The Chama to layer over the Llano. Thus the Chama being bigger.

I'm not talking about a Llano and Chama. These are both Chama tops, one Hoody and one QZ. Fit is totally different between the two.

To inform you, I emailed First Lite about this weird sizing issue. They said it should not be so different and asked me to send an image of the two side by side. The Hoody was about 3-4" shorter. They offered to replace the Hoody for free once I sent in the Fusion Hoody. They're replacing it with an ASAT Hoody as well per request. Very cool! I guess I'll have to see if the replacement is much longer. Regardless awesome customer service!

Wow, that is way off! This thread prompted me to compare my ASAT QZ to my fusion and brown hoodys. The ASAT QZ was about 2" longer than the fusion hoody and the brown hoody was slightly longer than the qz.. not near the extent as yours.

I think those fusion QZ chamas were all like that or at least a bunch of them. I bought a large last year and it was like that - short and wide. I could barely tuck it into my pants.
