Its not light, but it is pretty quiet (at least as far as rain gear goes).
The pants are around 23ozs for a size L
The jacket is around 26oz for a size L. I think the pants run a tad small. I'm average build guy with a 32x32 pant. I ended up needing the large as the legs on the medium were to snug to be comfortable.
For a brushed face fabric I have been surprised at how well it dries out given a day of no rain and a light wind. Typically brushed face fabrics hold water and seem to never dry. I haven't spent more than day or two in constant rain it, but we have a new Pudelpointer in the house and I have been working with NAVHDA doing some training and its been my go to jacket. Dogs, rain, and mud are a rough combo on gear and its been a good test that the Thunderhead has excelled in.
