So if you owned both the Teton and the Chugach rain sets, what would you carry for a 5+ day backpack hunt in Colorado for archery elk? We are going to be fully mobile and not coming back to a campsite every night. Based on this what would you carry for a rain set? These are the only 2 I have so other sets are not an option.

Check the forecast the day you leave.

Teton if rain isn't in the forecast, Chugach if Mother Nature is planning on getting a little freaky.

I have the Teton and Yukon, both excel at different things.

I own both and would go Chugach. The Teton always stays in my pack for those unexpected storms but when heading into the backcountry knowing bad weather is coming the Chugach is my go to set.The Chugach is more durable than the Teton and also works great as a hard shell on cold days or when you get back to camp in the evening and a chill sets in.
