Wiggys waders. Opinions please.

Wondering if people like using these waders better than shoes or sandles for water crossings? I've been using water shoes but it's so time consuming. Wondering if the waders would be a better choice. Thanks.

They're fragile. You need to really be careful that there is nothing on your boots (stones in the treads) before putting them on. I've owned two pair and trashed two pair early in both hunts. Rocks are really tough on them and DO NOT wear them at all out of the water.

They definately serve a purpose, but they aren't very durable.

Kyle's summary is exactly what I think. I've used them as needed for almost a decade and believe I've gone through 4 pair. They 100% always develop a leak and might need in-field repairs during the hunt. I still haven't found anything better (being a combination of light weight/packable and hip-high) for occasional water crossings.

I really think there is potential for someone to create and market a pair of similar waders which have much better durability.
