I picked one up planning to take it with me this season for Elk hunting. Its well made like the rest of the sitka gear we shall see. I have 0 doubts it will do what its intended to do though.

I am intrigued. I bought a goretex hiking hat years ago (OR Seattle sombrero). It was well made but didn't breath well. I think I gave it away when I moved to California because I wasn't getting rained on as much as I was hiking back east.

Not sure if the newer designs would breath better.
