Looking to pick up a new vets nd am looking at these two. What is the differences between the two. I have a Kuiu Down vest so looking fr something that will still add warmth but be quieter and able to be worn on the outside.

I have the jet stream and freaking love it. I think the different is a fleece lining in the jet, and not in the mountain. I could be incorrect, but pretty sure.

Shacket looks interesting but I'll stick with a vest. Want it to complement my ascent jacket and 90% Jacket.

I'm not sure if they have changed the cut on the Sitka vests but I would try one on before you bought one. When I tried them on the arm holes are tiny. I wear an XL in tops and the XXL arm holes were too small for me. This has been several years ago so it may have changed.

For what you asked, I would go with the jetstream. I own both the jetstream and the mountain. Like Jordan said the difference is the fleece liner for the jetstream. They both have the goretex windblocker liner.
