Help with my clothing setup

My current setup for my upper body is the following:

Cabela’s Merino wool base layer
Rivers West Merino wool Henley
Cabela’s primaloft Vest
Cabela’s Grand Teton primaloft jacket
Generic orange softshell

I hunt from a tripod stand and try and sit as long as I can. I hunt in MN in early November.

I stayed mostly warm in the 20s-30s but the softshell just wasn't cutting the wind out on the second day. (15-20MPH)

Looking for advice if I should replace the softshell with another outer layer? If so what would you recommend that is lightweight but still windproof?

Thanks
Chad

I'd Reccomend just getting a rain jacket to use as your outerlayer over what you have now. Cuts wind and serves you a dual purpose for if things start to get wet.

First Lite Sanctuary series with your current base and mid layers. Hunting from a nice stand is great, but nothing beats hunting comfortably. First Lite is running a great sale now.

If you are looking to cut the wind on the cheap, then I would recommend a breathable rain jacket.

I do the same thing; rain jacket is the best ive used to block wind as an outter layer. You can buy a mediocre rain jacket and it will work well.if cost is an issue: army surplus , pickle top is $10
