Vacuum sealing

Can't seem to find any threads on this . Was wondering has anyone tried opening regular mountain house meals or alpine aire and vacuum sealing them down in the original package? I realize mountain house makes propaks that this is already done but in smaller portions and if I'm not mistaken not in all flavors. I'm not aware of other companies offering this either. I know you can just put them in other packaging as well but these bags work well for cooking the food in.

At times, I have poked holes in the Mountain House meals near the top of the bag, let the air out and resealed with a small piece of tape. This works pretty well; i doubt the tape is even necessary.
