Annex\tarp

Looking pictures and videos of the annex on kifaru tarps and it gived me the power to first time sewing lol.

Found some silnylon fabric the same color as my tarp and borrow my mother's sew machine.
The hard part was to find TIME to do the project because overall its easy.
Not the best thing on earth but for 40$ its hard to beat.I will need to sew the stove jack soon and fix the D ring.(where my annex will attach to the treaking pole.)

Little stuff sack for it...took 8 min to do lol...not bad for first time...but i wish i had more time to work on this DIY annex,looking good but not perfect.

Nice! Looks good to me! What does your whole setup weigh? And is the size of the tent closer to a Supertarp or Megatarp?

The tarp is 2.5Mx3M...about weigh ill have to check when the stove jack will be sew.Thanks.

Yes to keep it light and it was my first time sewing so maybe a zipper its for next time haha!!!

Paracord for a flahlight or lantern.

I will have to test it before ill use it in the field,not sure of the stove position,i am scare of the annex wall will melt or something???

Yeah I was wondering the same on the stove location. I have a Slumberjack satellite tarp and was thinking about turning it in to a Paratarp like shelter. Definitely wanna get some materials and try to make a annex for it. Thanks for sharing..

ho nice project,i did a stove jack job on my sjk tarp few months ago.Well about the stove location,i will test it of course but if you take a look on paratarp and supertarp pictures their stoves are pretty close to the silnylon fabric without touching it,i think we just have to use common sense here.I have 3 stoves size,my box stove is too tall it will not work,on my picture its a 18'' cylinder stove and looks good but maybe my 12'' cylinder stove will work like a charm in there.Will see.

Tested this morning,nice set-up,i like it...stove was burning as crazy and the annex done the job without problem.
