DIY stuffs, bug net paratarp, field chair, tipi.

Bug net for my kifaru paratarp,of course it will not be pitched like my pictures,i was in a hurry for taking the photos because i was freezing at -20Celcius(Quebec,Canada).We have fly and mosquitos around May and i hate those little vampires so i decided to made this half net for the paratarp.
What you guys think?I am not sure if i will leave it like this of make the other half?I think its good like this,i can still use a stove and for hot summer nights it will give me some fresh air\ventilation and a nice view on the river :) I ordered some Tan 1000D cordura for a field chair projet and used the paratarp poles as chair legs.

Nice work although your pup doesn't look amused.... Might have to give that a try for my Supertarp

Outstanding job! I'd follow bbrown's lead and try one in a super tarp. How soon before you could whip up a couple of Supertarp sized net doors???

Looks great. You thinking of putting a net shod skirt around the base?. It would allow you to ventalet better while keeping the bugs out, rather than having to keep the pitch tight.

yeah Manosteel i thought about that but not really sure if i want to sew in a Kifaru shelter hahahah!!Nothing of the bug net is stitched on the Para...the first goal of this project was to see if i can sew a bigger bug net on my seekoutside 4 man...to be honest i am affraid of putting the tipi on the sewing machine, its huge and its hard to work,i am not a professional but i think ill give it a try soon.
Don't you think having a half net door is enough for ventilation in the para??

thanks, haha,it took me 6 hours to create it,i run out on 3/4 grossgrain and i had to cheated with a 5/8 grossgrain,i took 1 inch for the velcro door,it looks better...i not a pro_Overall its pretty basic stuff, just need to take your time(pretty hard with a 6 months little girl)i have 3 weeks off so i got time to play,i use the old Stinger sewing machine from my mom,i think she is younger than the machine hahahah!!!
