I bought a damaged mystery ranch crew cab bag off of eBay last year. Lucky it was cheap because it had carried a car battery that leaked acid on it I think. The two side pockets had light green blotches on them and the back of the bag itself and the load shelf basically disintegrated when I pulled on them a bit. I just about cut all the hardware off and said oh well. But I decided to try and bring it back to life. I removed all the plastic hardware since I couldn't get it into my sewing machine.
I decided not to seam rip the whole thing and just rebuild the load shelf and the tube pockets from the outside.
I made a high mount and a low mount using the lower existing buckles on the bag for the shelf.
It seems to fit the Kifaru frame pretty well, it fit over the top of the frame and I could still connect the load lifter straps. It seems to be a compact thin package.
I did have to get some nexus male open end buckles to connect the bag to the frame on the left side.
I'm glad I didn't just pitch it out now. Kind of surprised me it fit this frame as well as it did without a lot of modification.
