Made my own Outdoorsmans Shooting "V" and 1/4-20 base plate for a camera

Not sure if anyone else has tried making adapters out of wood for the outdoorsmans tripods but it was super easy and cost me next to nothing.

Wait, it's not made from aircraft grade aluminum, inconel or hyper-antigravity carbon kevlar ultra weave and will fall apart immediately.

That's wicked cool! I'm going to follow suit, appreciate the motivation.

The handy work is very good and I appreciate the time it took to cut all the notches and bevels. Unfortunately I don't think I would trust hanging $1K glass off a wooden base.

Nice! Give that rifle rest a couple of coats of tool dip and it will be just like store-bought.
