Still not completely satisfied. Maybe the third time will be a charm. I do like the second one better. Better organization plus it is has more volume.

Alrighty gents, still tinkering with lid ideas. For now I've moved on to another project. As a stated earlier in the thread I bought a Reckoning and returned to save some cash and bought a Markhor at a good price. It is in the pics above with the lids. .……but it's beginning to transform a bit.

I added 10" to the snow collar so I could fold it over like the Reckoning. I also added a center zip.

There will be more to come.

That nomad looks great. I have the original nomad and like it a lot. Can't decide if i want to mod it or build a 2 from scratch.

Never had hands on the first generation, you have the skills no doubt to pull off either (good grief man, you built a frame). Access to items on the 2nd generation style are much easier and make a lot more sense to me anyway. I am going to build another one identical to fit my Kifaru Lite frame as soon as it gets here. It should be identical, only thing may be different is the slots at the top of the pocket that slide over the frame, but I think they will be the same.

Squirrels that looks like a kifaru belt on an exo frame. How difficult cult of a conversion and is it worth it? I bought the wrong size belt for my exo and am trying to decide if I should switch over to a kifaru instead. Any thoughts?

Yes I it's easy to switch, just sell the entire frame and buy the Kifaru Lite.... in all seriousness it's pretty idiot proof to switch out the belt.
