i discovered ripstopbytheroll today and with the materials available i can see myself doing some DIY projects in the near future.

can someone list the climashield APEX insulation weights of the 3 kifaru slickbags, and lostpark parka? the woobie says 3.6oz/yd on their website.

i feel a DIY woobie coming on! just curious to know the various slickbag insulation weights are.

I called them a few times trying to find out, but they said they wouldn't release that info. Making assumptions from previous generations of slick bags I think the 20* bag is 6oz of apex.

This is the recommendation from ripstop by the roll
I want to make a Climashield® APEX quilt. What are the temperature ratings?
The ultimate temp rating of a quilt or apparel is subject to several variables, but as a rough guide, the following temperature ratings can be expected when using single-layers of Climashield® APEX insulation:

2.5 oz - 50o F
3.6 oz - 40o F
5.0 oz - 30o F
7.5 oz - 10o F

Just looking at this a would guess that the 20 degree bag is two layers of 3.6 and a 0 degree bag is two layers of 5
