I have a Sony rx100 b or something like that that never seems to show up on the compatible list for various commercial adapters. With the technical skills of a small child, I set about to figure out how to come up with an adapter to my razor 65mm. Measured the od of both the camera and spotter and set off to the local hardware store to see what I could find. Ended up with a pvc reducer that was just a bit too big on either end, so threw in some Velcro tape as well to adjust the ID to the needed size. Some electrical tape later and it seems like it will work well.

So far just looking out the front yard it seems to hold the weight well and center the lens pretty well for my needs. Headed up to the local wilderness area for a few days to scout. Will see how she does.
