Here's the walkthrough on one of those pockets. What I really like about it is you don't have to sew any curved and straight edges together, and there is no need to bind any of the seams.Just have to do some basic math (i know... its hard) to get your dimensions and make sure your attachment points will clear any seams.
First pic just shows the material with the zipper sides sewn on both ends
Then I mark and sew my molle attachments
I forgot to take a picture of one step here, but up next you put your zipper together and sew the ends shut with the pouch inside out. Just run the zipper down the center.
Then flip right side out, and mark your corners as shown in the diy pull out post I linked before. Notice the stitching is offset from my mark. In this case, it's the line on the left of the seam. The line on the right is from laying out my molle points
All sewn and trimmed
Flip the bag inside out and finish the french seam
I added another seam on each corner. This helped add some more structure to the bag and the corners for the zipper are angled to ease one handed closing
finished product. This one is 9" wide, 6" tall, and 3" thick
