Very cool. Those turned out great looking. Threads like these make me want to invest some time making some gear myself.

Nice work! I love getting to make my own gear. 2017 was a big sewing year for me-3 quilts, a tarp, and a pyramid tent. Then I tackled the cylinder stove to go in it and threw in some homemade game bags to top it off. Thanks for posting yours up, it’s always fun to see what everyone comes up with. I like your idea of the draw string, too.

A fix back east
Did you do anything special when sewing them up to keep everything together? I ordered some material last summer to make one, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

It was easy...i pinned it where I knew it would be cut off so I didn't put any holes in the fabric... I thought the Apex would get stuck in the sewing machine but it did not. I had the two pieces of fabric on top while the Apex was on the bottom while I sewed it

Any details on how you made the bags? nice looking stuff!
The one for the woobie is 8" x 16"...used silnylone 1.1 oz I think...the 1" material is grossgrain ..i made the bag portion first and put the woobie in it to see where the cord would go and then sewed on the grossgrain..
