Anybody else have issues with the Titanium Goat Cylinder Door making a bunch of noise?

It seems like the stove drafts so hard that it pulls the door against the end plate and is gasping for air. I am thinking about trying to allow some more air into the stove by punching a few holes but also afraid of embers. Already had a few jump out of the gap below the door, so I don’t want to make it worse.

Any ideas?

Looks like the new version has a few holes drilled to combat that

Mine is not very old? Maybe the holes were the old model. I have also had issues with embers jumping out the gap under the door, so I may try to fix both problems at the same time.
