Any problems with side entrance a-frame?

Any of you more experienced builders out there that can tell me inherant problems with moving the entrance on a fully enclosed A-frame design to the side?

Think megatarp shape, or mountainsmith shelter or msr twin sisters.... Why isn't anyone making these with a zipped side entry instead of having to crawl by a damn pole all the time?

I figure there has to be a good reason or someone would have made it already.

Ok, theres one good reason, any others, or is that a deal breaker? Seems like a small eave could take care of that
