Any of you DIY stove builders have any scrap pieces of light weight metal I could build a wind shield for my stove?

I haven't built a stove yet, but I have access to stainless shim stock. How big of a piece do you want and how thick?

Aluminum flashing at home Cheapo will work....you don't need fancy titanium for that.

For that matter, the heavier gauge tin foil works too.

I used some stainless tool wrap (used for heat treating), essentially it's stainless steel foil. Most metal shops should have shim stock, or Stainless foil. You can probably just buy a piece from them for super cheap.
But as had been stated, heavy duty aluminum for will work just as well. Just do a double up fold on the edges to give it some rigidity and you are good to go.
