I decided to convert my 7x14 cargo trailer into a camper or hunting base camp. I have a nice cabelas tent but it gets pretty chilly in there if you don’t constantly stoke the stove. I’m not 100% done yet but getting to where I can use it. It’s multipurpose so I can haul my goose decoys, haul my ATV, and also camp in it.

Here’s what it looked like when I bought it.

Here’s ripping the old floor out, putting new subfloors, and insulating it.

Put cabinets back in and cut windows in.

Then I wired speakers in, ac power outlets, dc power outlets, DVD player, TV, and rocker switches. I put most of this in one of the lower cabinets.

I hooked in the propane heater, 2 6 volt golf cart batteries, TV, powered roof vent fan, and lights.

Next I installed my kids bed.

My brother had a freshwater holding tank and pump he gave me. So I have water and a sink now.

I’ll post pics of the fold up bed system when I get that done. I have an on demand propane water heater that I hook to the outside and I can shower off it as well. I just hook the water into a couple valves on the outside of the trailer.

Impressive! Very well done and you incorporated some great ideas for saving space while still having a great living area

Nice work, I'm trying to convince my wife I should do something similar. Hopefully these pics will help!

Very nice work. I did one up, not near as nice as yours though. It hold 2 atv, and I have a queen size bunk I put in when the wife and young boy come along, makes them comfortable. I even have guest quarters that consist of 2 cabelas cots haha. Nice job!

It has a camco wave catalytic heater and I have a camp chef oven with burners on top of it for cooking. I need to weld a frame for it when I weld the drop down bed frames.
