Going to expand up going in. Going to make a couple pockets for the front panel to make easier access.

Looks awesome man. Do you find yourself utilizing the molle? I made one bag with it and it looks super cool but it's a ton of work and I don't use it in any capacity that a few loops here and there wouldn't suffice for.

It is super versatile but I just made it so not sure how much I will use it. Part of the reason I did full pals rather than just tabs is I don’t know the proper spacing for the pocket attachments. If you do please share with me!?!

No im right there with ya. That kind of jogs my memory and may be exactly why i did full pals as well. Which is silly because im way too cheap to buy kifaru pockets. So i can make the pockets to fit whatever. Thats the part of design that i hate. Figuring out measurements and spacing. So much easier to copy one in hand.

Here is another one I made. I skipped the pals on the front panel and just built in two pockets. Also skipped the pals on the lower portion of the side panels and put a billowed elastic pocket on each side.

I never got the Pals thing for hunting. Who wants a bunch of crap hanging off the outside of your pack?

The one advantage to build your own is customization....a guy can build in a bow holder specific to his bow, pouches for easy access, etc.

I will have to measure, that picture is with all my gear for 7 trip, I am hoping there is enough collar rolled up to be able to hold my food. I think there will be. I will measure it and take some more pics later.
