Colorado Unit 54

I'm working on draws for Colorado this year and am considering unit 54 for archery. I've heard it's a tough unit with some very steep and nasty country but was wondering if there was anyone that has hunted it that would be willing to have a quick chat about their experience in there. I'm not looking for anyone's spots, just some general intel and info from someone who's been in there.

I worked in a campground in 54 so im pretty familiar with anything up soap creek in about a 3 mile radius up to about the outfitters ranch 6ish miles in. I went up rainbow for about a week during a small wild fire as well.
