I tried this before but it failed. 2017 Missouri Breaks rifle bull. Waited 15 years to draw the tag, got a heavy 8x6 (two kickers off the right antler) with 50-inch main beams. This is me cinching down the final load after packing meat all night. Check out the bullet hole in the left antler. I only shot once so I doubt it was my bullet, but based on the shot angle and head position it might have been, although my 7mm bullets don't fit in the hole, in fact a .243 doesn't even fit. I probably should have waited for a broadside shot, but I was confident in blowing through the spine and lungs between his shoulder blades. He dropped in his tracks.
