That's all they have got. I know on the phone surveys in the past they have asked how many points were on my elk, but I never saw that info posted anywhere. If your looking at an OTC unit I would bet most bulls killed are in the 2-4 year old range
Colorado is managed for quantity, not quality. You can get an OTC elk tag in the majority of Colorado which leads to the majority of the males being younger bulls. If you want quality, you have to go for a very high preference point area. There will always be a smattering of big bulls in any area, but they are few and far between in high hunted areas. Even the 1-3 preference point areas aren't known for the size of the bulls, but more so for the fewer number of people.
